American Bullies are categorized in several sizes. Pocket Bullies are typically smaller than the standard size. Their height at the withers is usually 43 cm for males and 36 cm for females.

The legs of American Bullies are short but muscular, just like their whole build. Their hair is short and can be of various colours, and it does not require any special grooming.
